I've updated the Classes page to give some brief descriptions of how the classes are viewed in New Genesis. Eventually, all of my homemade classes and prestige classes will be fully written out and linked to their own pages for quick and easy reference. I've added the Timeline page to the site. Its very rough at the moment, but i will fill in the gaps as time goes on. I'm having a bit of trouble getting it formatted correctly... strangely, it looks better in IE than FireFox, at the moment. Just straight tabbed paragraphs didn't work, so i put it all into a two column table. Oddly, the rows aren't level with one another when viewing it in in FireFox. This site really needs to get some header... Hopefully, before the beginning of next week, B33J and I can sit down and place a decent, if temporary, Header graphic. The current concepts are of a pleasant, blue sky with wispy clouds that has been 'degraded' to appear very slightly digitized to fit the 'videogamey' feel of the site. On the left side, the side with the semi-circle, there will be a Flash animation of Terra Citadel, Skytouch Mountain (and possibly SkyHarbor and hovering airships), a cycling collection of the different racial symbols/banners, colored artwork, or some other representation of NewGen. On the right side of the header, there will be whatever wasn't chosen for the left. The center of the header will have the stylized title of "New Genesis" or even "The World of New Genesis"... which ever will fit and look appropriate. The guts and mechanics of the site are fully functional and are incredibly robust. Thanks again goes to Russ and his powerful CMScraft! The simple fact is that this site would still be nothing but a daydream without his hard work and programming talent. Thanks also goes to my brother, B33J, and his scary talent with graphics, color, art theory and his skill with Photoshop. This site wouldn't exist without both of their talents and sweat. Now that the Content Management System is fully operational, i have NO excuse what so ever for not starting to fill the site with content. Okay, I think that i have narrowed down the backgrounds to these two finalists: and test 3 is a nice, large background that fades to a solid color at the bottom. Its a pleasent and unique background. It looks like a dark, stormy sky at dusk/dawn. DarkBlue100 tiles VERY well, is a pleasent color mix and has a wonderful tactile texture. It looks like a rough hewn cut of marble.
